
Children in Need
Children in Need saw the children fully involved in fundraising for a worthwhile cause. Children came dressed in pyjamas, Pudsey costumes amongst other things. The school held a coffee and cake morning and made cakes the day before to sell. Through PSHE, the pupils came up with ideas for fundraising including pie throwing at the art teacher, a charity football match which raised £10, an art competition as well as sponsored silences. Remembrance Day
As part of our SMSC curriculum incorporating British Values we held a special assembly to commemorate Armistice Day on the 11th of 11th. As part of this students were invited to help produce a display in our main hall. Working with our Art dept the children made and painted poppies and the silhouette of a First World War soldier.
