Covid-19 Update

The school is open for those parents who would prefer their child in school or whose parents are critical key workers. My team have been in constant communication with all families and for last week our parents preferred to keep their child at home and participate in our remote learning. We are communicating with our parents / carers on a regular basis so if you would prefer your child to attend school please have these discussions when the staff ring you. We offer remote learning in many ways, Teams, Google Classrooms, paper based work packs, live lessons. All with support from our teaching staff and learning support staff.

This is a very difficult situation for everyone, we aim to keep everyone safe, our children and our staff. Please don’t hesitate to discuss your child’s education with Karen C, Karen P or Helen R who are contacting you all regularly.

We hope you all stay safe and hope that we can all get back to normal as quickly as possible. It has been lovely seeing the participation of the children in their remote lessons.

Christmas is coming..

Talbot House is getting ready for Christmas. The tree is up, beautifully decorated by the staff and pupils. The pupils have also created their own decorations to support the Baubles for Barnardos Christmas campaign.
